I built this with and for my little brother. He built the wings with working fins and I built most of the plane. The noes is held together by two Lego dice. It has retractable landing gear though they are not pictured here.
Steampunk Rocket
This is a Lego steampunk rocket. It separates into four stages. I modeled the main engines after the engines used on the Lego Ideas Saturn V Rocket and I used a lot of wheels and tracks to make the circular shape of the rocket.

Corsair
The Corsair is a famous WWII fighter plane. I made this model after my friend told me how awesome it was, and still is. It is the same size as all my other planes. It has an opening cockpit and retractable landing gear.

A Giant Bionicle
I did not get into Bionicle until Lego brought back the theme. However, I always liked the giant special edition figures. So I decided it would be worth it to build one. I went to my local Walmart and got two of the new normal sized Kopaka figures and one protector of ice. I then went on eBay a bought a large Bionaicle figure who was missing some parts. I used the new elements to Armour the old body and the picture above is what I got. I managed to keep all the original features of the small figure wile adding a few more. The shield can turn into skies or blades that go on his arms and the spear can be stored on his back. I have also included a picture of the Bigger protector of ice I made as Kopaka’s side kick.

The Red Baron
The great war was the first war to use air plains. Its greatest pilot was The Red Baron holding a record of 80 kills. He flew a triplane called the Fokker Dr. 1. I made this model small like my X-wings and made my own stickers to apply the detail I could not capture with bricks.

The Bonhomme Richard
Earlier this semester, I learned about John Paul Jones in my U.S. History class. It inspired me to make his ship, the Bonhomme Richard, out of Lego bricks. I found so many different versions of the ship on the web. Finally I decided to make mine based off of a museum quality model. Out of the whole ship I enjoyed making the cabin the most.

Stearman PT-17
This is the Stearman PT-17, a trainer plain during WWII. I made it the same size as my other bi-plains (which will be posted soon). My Stearman PT-17 seats 2 pilots, has a spinning propeller, and a brick-built tail design. For the history of the Stearman PT-17 click here.

Rebel Snow Speeder
In honor of the holidays, here is my original Rebel Snow Speeder. It’s literally my smallest Star Wars Lego model yet. So what functionality does this small, 4 x 4.5 inch model have? Well, it sits 2 pilots facing opposite directions and has a cockpit that can open and close all the way.

A-wing
This is the 5th starfighter in my rebel fleet. It is a simple A-wing starfighter that I made to go with my X-wings and Y-wings. It has an opening cockpit and spring-loaded lasers–that’s about it. I really like its small swoosh-able size. My goal was to make it as small as I could and yet still look good with a minifigure in it, It is majorly smaller than the original A-wing sets, yet it’s not the smallest ship in my fleet.

Y-wings
If the X-wing is the most awesome starfighter. Then second in awesomeness is the Y-wing Starfighter. I already had the set but after making my two X-wings it was rather too big. So I took it apart and made two. The absence of moving wings in the Y-wing needed to be countered with some functionality. I also managed to sneak some stud shooters in under the cockpit. The two different color schemes are on purpose. The one with yellow and gray stripes on the engines is Gold Leader. The one with blue stripes on the engines and red/brown piping is Gold 2.
